CUPA 4 natural slate from Warehouses 1 and 2 of the Armadilla quarry –in Benuza, León– has been chosen by the architect Arnaud de Saint-Jouan to restore the roof of Château de Saumur, home for centuries to dukes and rulers.

This castle, located in the Maine-et-Loire département, was designated a French Historical Monument in 1862.

Chosen for this restoration is CUPA PIZARRAS Historical Monument Selection MH5, which, with a thickness of 5 mm, complies with major French monument architectural requirements.
